The Process

The term "giclee" refers to a method of high quality printing. Giclée prints are created typically using professional 8-Colour ink-jet printers. The main manufacturers of these printers are Epson, MacDermid Colorspan, & Hewlett-Packard. These modern technology printers are capable of producing incredibly detailed prints for both the fine art and photographic markets. Images are printed using archival quality inks onto various (normally acid free) substrates including canvas and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides much better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction.
 

Each of these professional quality giclee prints is created onto 100% cotton canvas using Genuine Epson Ultrachrome pigmented ink, which is lightfast for 75 years! Each limited edition is signed and numbered by the artist and mounted with a backboard ready for framing.
